Social Distancing Guidelines

We just wanted to give you a quick update on the set-up and social distancing measures we have put in place with the various venues for our up and coming events. It is strange times for us all at the moment whilst we work to slightly different rules as lockdown is eased. We would also like to draw your attention to a number of our key terms of trading as well at this time, as we all need to ensure we all stay safe and well.

Firstly, with each event we must all adhere to the set up and break down times as stated by our team at each venue. We need to adhere to times as this has been approved with the venue management with a view to ensuring safety of traders and shoppers. Times for each event differ slightly, so these can be found on our Facebook/website pages, and we will also remind stall holders at the individual events.

Secondly, have been working hard with all the different venues to reorganise our events for the rest of this year. The latest list of confirmed events has now been published on our website ready for you all to start booking your stalls again. This list is complete to the best of our knowledge at this present time. We will however, need to keep abreast of any government changes and advice that may occur, so please keep checking our Facebook and web pages for any news and updates relating to these events.

Specific social distancing guidelines we all need to follow include:

• All stalls will have 3ft clearance between them to help ensure traders are apart from one another. We also ask that traders use one entrance to their stalls to keep a safe distance from each other

• From front to back stalls will have 6ft space in total

• Each stall will have a safe distance between the trader and customers

• Stall holders will not be permitted to sell from the front of their stalls - restocking from the front is ok as long as there are no customers in front at the time

• Hand sanitiser will be available for customers on each stall - this will be provided by us

• There will be a poster displayed on each stall asking customers to abide by social distancing rules - we will provide this

• Appropriate PPE should be used by stall holders such as gloves and masks. Stall holders should bring their own with them if possible, we will have a few available as back up if you are unable to get them

• Customers should be asked to pay by contactless/card wherever possible

• The 1mtr distancing rule will apply as it stands - this may change however as government guidelines change

We appreciate everyone's help with this. We will continue to monitor government advice as it changes on a daily basis, and should any of these guides change, then of course we will apply them to ensure everyone's safety.

With regard to our general terms of trade, we also wanted to take this opportunity to remind/update stall holders of a few key issues for trading as we move forward:

• Please be set up 10 minutes before opening time of each event, keep the front of your stall clear and move cars, vans to designated parking area as instructed

• Please make sure that you have a table covering - preferably black - which reaches the floor at front, sides and rear of table so that all stock, flasks etc are hidden from public view. Please keep you stall clean and tidy

• Do not move tables without permission as they have been positioned to give the correct width for social distancing, walkways and fire exits

• Only display those items, which are agreed by Creative Crafts from those listed on your booking form. You will be asked to remove good that are not agreed

• JEWELLERY CANNOT BE MIXED WITH OTHER ITEMS without permission at the time of booking your stall

• Please take all your rubbish home at the end of every event. Traders who do leave rubbish behind will be charged £5

• All exhibitors should have Public Liability Insurance (PLI). If you do not have PLI then we can provide this for you at a cost of £5 per event - please get in touch if you require this

• A Food Hygiene certificate is compulsory for anyone selling food; this must be displayed on your stall

• ALL EXHIBITORS MUST PAY FOR THEIR STALL IN ADVANCE (no exceptions). This must be no later than one week before the event. If you have not paid in advance we will not be able to guarantee your stall and it may be given to someone else

• Anyone who needs to cancel on the morning of an event, or the day before, please ring us on our MOBILE: 07966 499748

• Refunds cannot be given on any event that has to be abandoned due to extreme weather conditions or for any other circumstances beyond our control

We understand that it is a difficult time for us all and we are endeavouring to make our events as safe and successful as possible for everyone. By following the guidelines and terms above we hope to achieve this as we move ahead through 2020.

This year has seen an unprecedented time for us all and although things are tough at the moment, the team at Creative Crafts are doing our best to help our traders and customers by trying to plan our events for 2021.

In planning our future events, we will be monitoring Government guidelines and safety measure to help ensure that everyone who attends the events remain safe and well. With this in mind, our events will follow strict social distancing guidelines - details of which will be published on our website and Facebook pages over the coming weeks.

We are pleased to now offer you a varied selection of venues which we will be adding to when further venues are confirmed. We have some long standing venues for 2021 and some exciting new ones for you. We are pleased to announce our attendance at the Staffordshire Showground for a new 2 day event for the International cheese show ( formerly at Nantwich Show ) which is hosted by Love Food Live and sponsored by Marks & Spencers. The Royal Cheshire show is now to be a 1 day event on Saturday 31st July with our marquee in a new central position within the showground.

We look forward to continuing working alongside The Great British Food Festival team who host some of the best Food and Drink festivals at some fabulous venues which this year includes a new addition for us at the fabulous Tehntham Gardens. We are also pleased to include the various events at the Lowther Gardens in Lytham St Annes and the introduction of Wrea Green Steam Fair and the Lancashire game festival
