CREATIVE CRAFTS ASSOCIATION CRAFT & GIFT FAIRS

GAWSWORTH HALL, GAWSWORTH, MACCLESFIELD

We have organised Fairs at Gawsworth Hall for a number of years. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful Manor Houses in Cheshire. This year we are running the event as a Craft, Gift and Food Fair with an extra marquee dedicated to quality food suppliers. There will be lots of entertainment for you as well and we will post the details nearer the time. The hall is always open each afternoon of the Craft Fair, and for a small extra charge you can tour the hall itself. Access to the gardens and grounds and free parking are all included in the Craft Fair entry price. Please click here for more information about Gawsworth Hall. NEXT EVENT.....LATE MAY BANK HOLIDAY. SATURDAY 29th TO MONDAY 31st MAY 2010.

REEBOK STADIUM, HORWICH, BOLTON.

This is Reebok Stadium the home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club. It's easy to find with large signposts from the M61. Underneath the stands is a large exhibition hall where we hold the Craft and Gift Fairs. There is lots of free parking at the side but make sure you follow the yellow signs so that you come into the car park nearest the Craft Fair entrance and not into the shopping centre car park which leaves you with a longer walk. OUR NEXT FAIR HERE IS EASTER SUNDAY AND EASTER MONDAY 4/5th APRIL 2010

CAPESTHORNE HALL, MACCLESFIELD

Capesthorne Hall is situated on the A34 just off the A537 south of Alderley Edge and has been host to Craft Fairs for over twenty years. It is a very famous Jacobean style Country House set in its own gardens and over 100 acres of picturesque Cheshire Parkland.

This year’s events will be Craft, Gift and Food Fairs and our marquees will be set up close to the main hall with ample onsite parking. This is the second year that the Creative Crafts Association have organised these annual events and for 2010 we are also booking for the Christmas at Capesthorne weekend where there will be exhibitors in the hall itself plus a marquee just outside.  There will be a wide variety of Crafts and Gifts for sale OUR NEXT VISIT IS AT THE EARLY MAY BANK HOLIDAY ON SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY 1/2/3rd MAY 2010

THE LOWRY OUTLET MALL, SALFORD QUAYS, SALFORD.

We hold a number of Craft and Gift Events throughout the year within the Lowry Outlet Mall at Salford Quays. Our exhibitors are normally situated close to the main entrance and the Information Desk within the Mall itself. Salford used to be very industrial and this area was the busiest inland port in the country but it has now been fully rebuilt and is a surprisingly pleasant place to visit. The photo was taken one evening last month and is of the Lowry Centre looking from the Mall. The famous Lowry Centre is at the opposite side of the Plaza and a couple of hundred yards walk over the very futuristic bridge crossing the Ship Canal will take you to the Northern Branch of the War Museum. There is a food hall, lots of parking or you can arrive by tram from central Manchester. It makes a full day out if you visit all the attractions. OUR NEXT EVENT. FRIDAY TO SUNDAY 19/21st FEBRUARY 2010.

ARLEY HALL AND GARDENS, NORTHWICH, CHESHIRE

This is the first time that the Creative Crafts Association has organised the Crafts and Gift Marquee at this very popular annual event.

Arley Hall boasts one of the finest gardens in England with its outstanding variety and magnificent double herbaceous borders.

The hall is a superb example of a Victorian Country House built in the Elizabethan style and is open to the public.

Arley Hall is deep in some of the most beautiful Cheshire countryside and well worth the visit.

OUR VISIT THIS YEAR IS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 26/27th JUNE.

I don’t have photos of the rest of our venues at the moment but they are all very carefully selected and vetted before we give the go ahead.

LOWTHER PAVILION. This is a Civic Theatre and general purpose hall which we have used for many years. There is good parking, easy access and a first class cafe.

HAYDOCK PARK RACECOURSE. Again this is a very well established venue with superb parking and easy access for everyone. We use two large exhibition halls for our event and there is never any horse racing on our Craft and Gift days.

WORSLEY PARK HOTEL.  A beautiful hotel in a superb setting with a golf course. A very popular and easy to find venue with a large car park and easy access.

LEIGH SPORTS VILLAGE. A very well lit facility with lots of visitors and good parking with a massive catchment area.

We chose Garden Centres which are large, very well known, popular, have good parking, a restaurant and easy access to and from our marquee. They are:

DOBBIES GARDEN WORLD. Preston and Southport.
BURNSIDE GARDEN CENTRE. Thornton Cleveleys
BROOKSIDE GARDEN CENTRE. Poynton, Stockport
BELLIS BROTHERS GARDEN CENTRE AND FARM SHOP. Holt, Wrexham.
RIVENDELL GARDEN CENTRE, Widnes, Cheshire.
STAPELEY WATER GARDENS, Nantwich.
HOUGHTON HALL GARDEN CENTRE, Carlisle.
LADY GREEN GARDEN CENTRE. Ince Blundell, Liverpool.
WILMSLOW GARDEN CENTRE. Wilmslow.

The Creative Crafts Association also organise the Craft and Gift Marquees at the CHESHIRE COUNTY SHOW and the STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY SHOW. These are two massive events with many thousands of visitors where we are very pleased to be able to play our part in these showcases for British Agriculture. Both shows are extremely interesting, entertaining and informative and well worth a day out.
