CREATIVE CRAFTS ASSOCIATION CRAFT, GIFT & FOOD FAIRS
THIS WEEKEND WE ARE TAKING OUR SHOW TO THE
RIVENDELL GARDEN CENTRE IN WIDNES
We have also added Weaverdale, High Legh and Daleside Garden Centres at Northwich, Knutsford and Hawarden respectivly. Our Garden Centre events were again very successful in 2013 and we hope to further build on that success during 2014.
We also organise the Craft and Gift section of ‘Christmas at Capesthorne’ where some of our exhibitors will be in the hall and others in the adjoining heated marquee. The ‘Arley Garden Festival’ is in June and we will be repeating the very successful ‘Arley Hall Shopping Events’ in April and November.
Some of our most popular venues are Gawsworth Hall near Macclesfield where we always incorporate a dedicated Food and Drinks Marquee within our Craft and Gift event and the massive events at Macron (Formerly Reebok) Stadium Exhibition Centre at Horwich in October and December. There is also a major Craft, Gift and Food Fair at Capesthorne Hall in May which is a marquee event.
A major new innovation for 2014 is to set up our marquee on the car parks of various Tesco Superstores. It should be a great idea where, for the first time, we will take our craft events directly to where so many people go to shop over the weekend. These should be very busy.
Some weekends we exhibit in built up areas and others in glorious countryside and sometimes as part of a large festival, a carnival or a County Show. At some events we include demonstrations or workshops. We try to make our craft fairs interesting for all our customers which is why we use lots of different venues in lots of different areas. We add unexpected extras wherever possible and try our best to encourage top quality exhibitors to every fair.
Our experience has taught us the value of researching all of our craft venues very carefully and also the massive importance of top rate advertising to make a successful event. Each and every craft fair is preceded by massive advertising and we pride ourselves in putting out more road signs, often backed up with ‘AA’ type signs, than any other organisers in our area. We advertise on a large scale in all local newspapers and this always includes the Manchester Evening News and the Metro papers when appropriate.
The Creative Crafts Association are once again keeping stall fees and customer admission charges lower than those of any other major organiser throughout 2014 and this is despite continuing increases in venue hire charges, advertising, sign posting and printing costs for all our posters, leaflets and brochures.
Whether you are one of our many visitors or exhibitors please feel free to look round our web site and we look forward to meeting you at one of our events in the near future
